The Innovations Showcase, as part of the European Commercial Marine Awards (ECMAs) provides visitors with the opportunity to see the latest in equipment, services, projects and vessels that have been introduced to the Commercial Marine market since the last live Seawork event.
Located in a prominent area of Seawork, the Innovations Showcase is judged in various categories, with the winner receiving an Award and Certificate of Commendation. One overall category winner will then be presented with the coveted “Spirit of Innovation” trophy.
The high level of innovation and cutting edge technology is a must see for all visitors and exhibitors at Seawork and each entry will be seen by a huge amount of companies and marine professionals. This is an opportunity to showcase your originality, ability to problem solve and make a real difference to the industry with the latest in design and inginuity.
The Innovation Showcase receives a high level of promotion and marketing before, during and after the event so it is a real opportunity for businesses to get their product fastracked to the forefront of the Marine Industry.
There are just 2 rules to qualify:
- the product must have been released to market in the period since the last live Seawork
- the product must be innovative
If you have a product that fits this criteria and want to showcase it to the key industry professionals, then make sure you enter it into the Innovations Showcase.

Seawork’s sister publication Maritime Journal publishes content about all the shortlisted showcase entries in its bumper June issue, which as well as being read by over 6,000 commercial marine industry decision makers in print and over 30,000 online each month, is also distributed to every stand at Seawork. All shortlisted Awards entries are covered in Maritime Journal in print and online. Category and overall winners are often covered in more detail through subsequent issues of MJ and others simply get onto Maritime Journal’s radar by entering the awards (Maritime Journal’s editor is part of the Award’s judging process).
