Now, for the first time, we bring this technology to the marine sector via the Greenlight lightweight family of seats and suspension seat systems.
Designed specifically to meet the requirements of the marine industry, the marine seat system weighs just 24kg including suspension. As such the Greenlight seat offers significant weight savings over existing seats in the market, as well as durability, comfort and safety. Weight savings that translate directly into significant operational cost reduction which can give a return on investment within four months.
The Greenlight seating system has been tested and type approved to HSC2000 by DNV-GL and is now use around the world in a number of seagoing vessels, the most recent being the Seacat Freedom produced by South Boats.
All seats and the various derivatives are manufactured at SDC’s facility in Derbyshire where, it should be mentioned, SDC also produce seats for Bentley and other leading automotive companies.
