Customer based engineering
CENTA can offer a customer based solution engineered to tailor the specific demand, resulting in a precision engineered coupling which is of superior quality, reliable and cost effective. With a pioneering team, CENTA is not limiting itself to couplings alone. Progressive steps in hybrid/electrification and new material usage leads to new solutions, for instance (electromagnetic) clutches and carbon fibre applications, which are engineered in house. Our engineers work with various CAD and simulation software enabling them to use Finite Element Method (FEM) to assess stresses and adapt the designs during the engineering phase. This leads to designs of the highest precision, quality, reliability and is made to suit the setup. In house measuring will guarantee the precision of the supplied parts.
Torsion calculations
CENTA has years of experience in calculating and analysing the dynamic driveline system. In order to be able to perform this analysis our engineers have specialised software enabling them to calculate Torsional Vibration Calculation (TVC) and analyse the dynamic system with Torsional Vibration Analysis (TVA). When the customer supplies the mass-elastic data/model we are able to calculate the system and indicate critical points and also give advice on how to prevent these critical resonances. When the engineering of the coupling is also undertaken by our engineers, critical frequencies can be determined in advance and this will enable the design team to make modifications (different stiffness/additional mass) directly in the engineering process, reducing the risk of unwanted vibrations in new setups. We can tailor the coupling exactly to the (dynamic) system.
