VIDEO: The ‘flipping’ research platform saved from scrappage
Flipping research platform ‘FLIP’ has been saved from the scrapyard in the nick of time, and will continue oceanographic works in the future.
On hearing that FLIP was destined for dismantling, UK-based design company DEEP stepped in, and the platform is now being refitted in Europe.
