VARD wins hybrid offshore vessel deal
VARD has won a deal with Island Offshore for the design and build of a new VARD 3 25 hybrid ocean energy construction vessel
Island Offshore operates in the oil & gas and renewables markets and runs a fleet of 19 vessels.
The deal – with an option for two more – follows an earlier delivery in 2020/21 of three vessels built by VARD, including the Island Victory.
