Vard supplies second hybrid OECV for Island Offshore
Vard has secured a contract with Island Offshore to design and build a second hybrid-powered ocean energy construction vessel
This agreement follows the exercise of an option from a previous contract signed in May, which included one firm OECV and options for two additional sister vessels.
Scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2027, the new vessel will be based on the VARD 3 25 design, developed in collaboration with Island Offshore.
