Two electric ferries ordered for Denmark

Electric ferry built at Cemre Shipyard in Turkey

Two electric ferries are to be built at Turkey’s Cemre Shipyard, destined for Denmark’s Bøjden-Fynshav and Ballen-Kalundborg routes.

Running on 100% battery power, the propulsion systems will be backed up with four generators that run on hydrogenated vegetable oil.
