Svitzer’s EcoTow solution debuts in Australia

Svitzer's services for Hoegh Autoliners will benefit from biofuel-powered tugs (Svitzer)

Svitzer and Höegh Autoliners have partnered to provide low-carbon towage services for Höegh Aurora in Australia using Svitzer’s biofuel-powered EcoTow system.

The agreement that involves the Norway-based shipowner’s recently delivered 9,100 CEU Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) Höegh Aurora accessing low-carbon towage services in Australia via Svitzer’s EcoTow system, using biofuel for its tugs’ ship-assist duties.
