The 26th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Panama Canal orders 10 hybrid-electric tugs
Up to 20 hybrid-electric tugs have been ordered for the Panama Canal, with Norwegian battery developer Corvus Energy contracted to supply the batteries.
The order for the first 10 was valued at $150 million in total, each of which is to be 30 metres in length with 70 tonnes bollard pull.
