New hybrid SOV for North Star
North Star is boosting its support for offshore wind with an eighth hybrid offshore wind vessel.
North Star has struck a deal with Siemens Gamesa to build a hybrid service operation vessel (SOV) bound for long-term charter at the East Anglia THREE offshore wind farm.
This latest win in the North Sea means the firm will now support two of the world’s largest windfarms.
