Incat Tasmania to double shipbuilding capacity

Incat Tasmania is to double its shipbuilding capacity with a new 12-hectare site that will allow it to build three large vessels at a time.

The company will focus on electric vessels, it says, on the back of building the world’s largest electric ferry that is due to be delivered in 2025.
