Autonomous navigation ordered for Norway ferries
Norway’s ferries are becoming more and more automated, with navigation set to be installed on four new-builds by 2028.
The autonomous systems will be installed on new-build Lavik-Oppedal ferries in stages once they have been launched in September 2026.
