SMD sells first compact e-ROV to Greece
SMD has sold its first compact electric ROV to Greece’s Hellenic Centre for Marine Research for deep-water missions
The vehicle, which will be delivered to HCMR in the summer of 2025, will be fitted onto an existing vessel and used as part of the organisation’s frequent deep-water missions.
Created by SMD’s specialist Innovation Division, the Atom EV has a 4,000m rated turnkey system and can convert 63% of power into usable thrust performance.
