Balmoral Comtec invests in wave simulator
Balmoral Comtec has announced a £1 million investment in a cutting-edge wave and current simulator, designed to simulate offshore conditions for a range of subsea systems
The new facility at Balmoral Business Park in Aberdeen is partially funded by £74,000 from Energy Transition Zone.
The new simulator will play a pivotal role in validating the performance and design of HexDefence, Balmoral Comtec’s scour protection product, which was launched in 2023.
