Samson is a renowned consultant and manager in marine regulatory compliance and QHSSE Management Systems with many years of professional experience and track records in Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He is an MBA and MSc graduate with current focus on maritime shipping, construction, renewable energy and oil and gas. He specialises on effective management and consultancy services of quality, health, safety, security and environmental management as applicable to projects and operations of FPSOs, FSOs, marine tankers, tugs, patrol boats and crew transfer vessels.
Samson started off his career in 2003 as a ship safety cadet for prominent maritime players and IOCs owing marine vessels and tank farms notably, the Chevron Plc and JBNL. Afterwards, he progressed his career rising to various leadership positions in reputable companies located at Dubai, Singapore and Nigeria. Currently, he is the QHSE manager of Offshore Turbine Services, United Kingdom, a company which mainly operate wide-range of crew transfer vessels in UK and across Europe.
Samson has mentored many young professionals and presented technical papers in various local and international workshops, seminars and related conferences in marine and renewable energy fuels, oil spills, gas flaring safety equipment, port management and marine vessel compliance of which significant parts have been published, globally. He has received numerous local and international awards.
