NHC plan for hyperbaric lifeboats

The requirement for hyperbaric lifeboats in the event of a sinking, or stricken DSV, is now widely accepted following a number of incidents in recent years.

The National Hyperbaric Centre in the UK (NHC) presented a paper at the IMCA Conference in Dubai which brought to light a number of issues surrounding the need for hyperbaric lifeboats for divers.
