Van Oord is making significant progress on the Constanța Beaches (Phase III) project, with the successful completion of reinforcement works at the seaside resorts of Olimp, Jupiter-Neptun and Balta-Mangalia

Commissioned by Administratia Bazinala de Apa Dobrogea-Litoral, the project aims to protect Romania’s coastline from erosion and flooding while boosting regional tourism.

A key aspect of the project was the installation of 9 kilometres of breakwaters to safeguard the coastline from storm waves.
