UK Docks expands with Smith’s Dockyards revival

The former Smith’s Dockyards on Teesside UK is back in full operation thanks to UK Docks Marine Services doubling its drydock capacity and expanding its vessel repair capabilities.

UK Docks, based in South Shields, has secured a long-term lease for the two remaining dry docks at the historic site, completing its full acquisition of the former Smith’s Dockyards.
