Two €7bn reservoirs earmarked for eastern England

Consultations have concluded on two reservoirs earmarked for the driest region of the UK at a total life cost of  £12.9 billion (€15.9 billion). 

Existing rivers will be tapped via pipelines during high rainfall and water treatment plants and pumping stations will be built.
