Construction starts at new Albanian seaport
Contractors are working on a brand new port to modernise and expand Albania’s facilities for the wider Balkan region.
Calling the development plan ‘future proof’, the port will be built in phases with a strict budget and ultimately create a strong connection for inland transshipment with neighbouring Kosovo getting a dry port facility, developers say.
