Africa-Europe subsea tunnel plan resurrected
Spain has announced it will put up €2.3 million to fund a study into the design of a subsea tunnel to Morocco.
The tunnel has been talked about for years, but now appears to be coming to fruition and could be open in time for the 2030 Football World Cup, which is being co-hosted by the two countries.
