UK firm boosts maritime offering with purchase

Founded in 1996, Energy Solutions works with OEM boat builders, super-yacht owners, and individual boaters to deliver  power and control solutions.

The company says the acquisition enhances its marine technology offerings, advancing its digital portfolio in boat-building and marine manufacturing.

“Oceanic Systems will continue to operate as a stand-alone business, with its employees integrated into Energy Solutions’ operations, bringing Oceanics’ technical capabilities including PCB assembly with automated pick-and-place technology,” Energy Solutions says.

”By acquiring Oceanic, Energy Solutions strengthens its portfolio of monitoring solutions, particularly as our involvement in Marine Hybrid propulsion systems grows,” said Paul Holland, managing director and founder. “Oceanics’ Poseidon system is a key asset in providing sophisticated monitoring solutions.”

Oceanic Systems makes fuel and water senders, level gauges, NMEA2000 cabling and connectors, dual and multiple engine displays and their newest launch, Poseidon.
