Major firms merge to form offshore energy mammoth

Two of the world’s largest offshore firms have agreed a €43 billion merger, to be completed in the second half of 2026.

The firms jointly have ‘highly complementary geographical footprints, competencies and capabilities, vessel fleets and technologies that will benefit the combined company’s global client base’, a joint statement said.
