Schottel propels US Coast Guard’s waterways fleet forward

Schottel is to supply propulsion components for 27 Waterways Commerce Cutters (WCCs) as part of the US Coast Guard’s modernisation programme.

These components will equip 16 River Buoy Tenders (WLR) and 11 Inland Construction Tenders (WLIC) being built at Birdon America’s Bayou La Batre shipyard in Alabama.
