The 26th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. New patrol boats complete sea trials
Two new patrol vessels for the Italian Coastguard and German fishing patrol duties have passed sea trials with speeds higher than forecast by the designers.
In an unusual early sea trial, crew on the 16m patrol vessel for the Italian Coastguard recorded speeds of up to 38 knots, thanks to Castoldi’s latest Turbodrive 400 HCT waterjets. Both vessels also have Castoldi’s latest ACES control system.
