NAVTOR calls for greater ENC access
Without a joined-up approach to rolling out onshore Electronic Navigational Charts, important development areas such as autonomous shipping, route planning, optimisation, and effective emergency response measures could be held back, says Norwegian maritime technology company NAVTOR.
NAVTOR’s Paul Elgar describes the current state of play as “simply not good enough in an age of smarter shipping, efficiency and crucial sustainability goals”.
