Marine battery maker leaps $300/kWh hurdle

A marine battery start-up that set up its Chinese factory just over a year ago has managed to make them for the holy grail price of $300/kWh, owner Chris Kruger says.

Kruger also believes the future of batteries could be solid state – which could make cross-ocean travel possible on battery power, he says.
