CMT unveils fuel injection emissions sensor
CMT has expanded its PREMET X range of engine performance indicators with a new fuel injection acoustic sensor
The new device allows engineers to monitor the sound of a diesel engine’s fuel injection system to detect any problems with fuel injectors, nozzles, and pumps.
Capable of monitoring frequencies in the 200-700kHz range, the sensor incorporates a built-in amplifier and signal conditioning module which can measure through coated surfaces.
