Ørsted closes consultation for Isle of Man wind farm

Up to 100 wind turbines are proposed for the first offshore wind farm belonging to the British Crown dependency of the Isle of Man.

There has been public concern on the island, which is between Ireland and Liverpool, about the visual impact of the turbines, environmental effects and distribution of generated power, much of which would go to the UK and not the Isle of Man.
