UK gov pledges £22bn for carbon capture

The UK government has rubber-stamped spending £22 billion (€26 billion) on projects to capture and store CO2.

Two sites have been earmarked in northern ‘industrial heartlands’, where the government claims 4,000 jobs will be created.
