UK earmarks £700m for ‘Net Zero’ shipping

Timeline to Net Zero

Along with other European countries, the UK has laid out investment plans to get the country to ‘Net Zero’ by 2050 when it comes to shipping.

£700 million has been pledged to include sea-charging, shore power and green corridors, all to be checked every five years and monitored by the IMO.
