Turbines ordered for New York offshore wind farm
Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has won its first US contract to manufacture 810MW worth of offshore wind turbines for the fledgling New York market.
Vestas will supply, deliver and commission 54 of its V236 15MW turbines for the 810MW Empire Wind 1 New York project under a five-year deal.
