Steel cut on hybrid-electric SOV for EnBW
North Star and shipbuilding partner Cochin Shipyard have cut steel on a Service Operations Vessel (SOV) that will head to the German offshore wind farm He Dreiht.
The Vard-designed vessel has a new hull form to mitigate sea state and wave height challenges, said North Star, without giving details.
