New UK government – new offshore wind boost
The new UK Labour government has set out its plans for home-grown energy, including giving a specific mention to offshore wind.
The plans won’t come cheap – the plan admits that £100 billion (€119 billion) of private investment will be needed to deliver Labour’s target of 60 gigawatts by 2030.
