Lobby group sets out key asks for tidal energy

A lobby group has made five ‘key asks’ to the UK government to support tidal stream energy as it gathers pace around the world.

“Its USP is it’s entirely predictable, and as we move to an energy system dominated by wind and solar, having that predictability will become more and more important,” says Marine Energy Council policy director Richard Arnold.
