Heavyweights set up JV for floating wind
An application has been submitted by heavyweights Ørsted, Simply Blue Group and Subsea7 to build a floating wind farm to power North Sea oil and gas.
“Ambitious targets from the Scottish and UK governments are not yet complemented by the infrastructure and supply chain required to deliver the floating wind pipeline in the UK,” says the project director.
