Ground broken on Scottish shore power project

Scotland’s Port of Aberdeen has begun work on a £4 million (€4.7 million) shorepower system that will be able to ower seven vessels simultaneously, the operator says.

The shore power system is being installed by PowerCon and will include connecting the modular shore power system to the grid, as well as establishing quayside connection points via mobile cable reels.
