RWE has been given the green light by the Danish Energy Agency to begin building Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm

Expected to begin operating by 2027, Thor will produce 1.1 GW of renewable energy – enough to power one million households.

Located 22 km off Jutland’s west coast, Thor will feature 72 wind turbines, half of which will have CO2 reduced steel towers, while 40 turbines will use recyclable blades.
