Multraship's crane barge 'Cormorant' has rescued another crane barge (Peter Barker)

Protecting the environment was put at the top of the priority list for Greek salvage firm Tsavliris, which was involved in a complicated job in the Ionian Sea recently.

The 47m yacht, Tamarita, had stranded on Panagia Reef off Paxoi Island in the Ionian Sea, in an environmentally sensitive area included in the Natura 2000 network of Europe’s most valuable habitats.
