Dutch invention helps prevent towline failure
The Rotterdam based shipping company Rotortug (KST) BV and ASD Ship Design from Alblasserdam have invented a revolutionary device to prevent towline failures on tugs, due to chafing against a fixed ‘staples’ and fairleads.
