Dredging to help Hamburg maintain box share

Dredging will help Port of Hamburg maintain its rapid rate of growth.

Hamburg, Germany’s largest port, handled 132.2m tonnes of cargo in 2011, an increase of 9.1% compared with 2010, and is expected to gain additional benefits from a forthcoming dredging campaign in the river Elbe.
