Double product debuts for Hercules Hydraulics
Hercules Hydraulics will be launching two new products at Seawork 2018: A new heavy-duty deck winch, and a new lightweight bow thruster.
The new universal deck winch, which will be on display for the first time at Seawork 2018 in Southampton, is suitable for loads of up to 2.5 tonne and has been designed so that it can be used for a number of different on-board applications such as fishing, mooring, landing etc.
The capacity of the universal deck winch can be specified to suit individual customer needs and with its aluminium construction can offer the dual benefit of being lightweight while offering rugged and durable performance. A marinised mild steel version is also available.
The new universal deck winch further expands the Company’s acclaimed range of hydraulic winches, which already features its heavy-duty lightweight anchor winches as well as hydraulic landing, mooring, fishing and tugger winches, all of which are designed and manufactured by Hercules Hydraulics at its premises in Devon.
A new lightweight Bow Thruster, suitable for even larger vessels than the Company’s existing range, is also in development and will be available with a choice of 85, 90 and 95HP variants.
