Top tier changes at survival systems firm Zelim

Doug Baxter is replacing Doug Duguid, who remains on the Zelim board as investor director; Doug Griffiths has been appointed executive director; and Barry Park is now Sales director.

The appointments, says founder Sam Mayall, are part of the Edinburgh, Scotland-based company’s mission to go global, as it explores the US and Asia as well as Europe.

Formed in 2017, Zelim’s three key products are Swift, a person overboard recovery system; ZOE, a detection, tracking and alerting solution for man overboard and maritime security; and Guardian, a remotely operated rescue vessel that can also be crewed.
